Who and What Is Covered

This Limited Warranty applies to the original purchaser of a new StoneBuilt Cornhole set and covers the StoneBuilt granite playing surfaces and StoneBuilt metal or cedar frames. Cornhole bags and other consumable or normal-wear accessories are not covered by this one-year structural warranty.

Warranty Period

Coverage begins on the date the original purchaser receives the product by pickup or delivery and continues for one year.

What This Warranty Covers

StoneBuilt Cornhole warrants the covered granite playing surfaces and frames against defects in materials and workmanship that arise during normal and intended use during the warranty period.

What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This warranty does not cover:

Natural characteristics of granite, including variations in color, pattern, veining, mineral deposits, texture, small pits, or natural fissures that do not impair the structural performance of the product.

Normal wear, scratches, stains, fading, discoloration, cosmetic deterioration, weathering, natural aging of cedar, or surface rust or corrosion resulting from damaged coatings, improper maintenance, or environmental exposure.

Damage caused by dropping, impact, striking, dragging, improper lifting or moving, excessive loads, abuse, misuse, improper storage, standing water, fire, flood, severe weather, vandalism, accidents, or other external causes.

Damage caused by modifications, alterations, replacement parts, or repairs performed by the purchaser or a third party. The mere use of a third-party repair provider does not automatically void this warranty; only damage attributable to such repair, modification, or alteration is excluded.

Freight and Transportation Damage

Damage occurring during transportation by a third-party carrier is not considered a defect in StoneBuilt materials or workmanship. Shipping claims and responsibility for transit damage are governed by the applicable order, shipping terms, cargo coverage, and carrier requirements.

Customers receiving freight shipments should inspect the shipment promptly, note visible damage on the delivery documentation when possible, photograph the shipment and packaging, retain relevant packaging, and contact StoneBuilt promptly. StoneBuilt will provide reasonable assistance with a carrier or cargo claim when applicable.

StoneBuilt’s Remedy

For a defect covered by this Limited Warranty, StoneBuilt will, at its option, repair the defective covered component or replace it with a new or functionally comparable component.

Because granite is a natural material, replacement stone may differ in color, veining, mineral pattern, or appearance from the original stone.

If StoneBuilt determines that a covered defect cannot reasonably be repaired or replaced within a reasonable time, StoneBuilt will refund the portion of the original purchase price reasonably attributable to the defective covered component.

These remedies are the purchaser’s exclusive remedies under this written Limited Warranty to the extent permitted by applicable law.

How to Make a Claim

The original purchaser must contact StoneBuilt Cornhole and provide reasonable proof of purchase, photographs or video showing the claimed defect, and a description of the problem.

StoneBuilt may request reasonable additional information or inspection before approving a claim. Customers should not ship a granite board, frame, or complete set to StoneBuilt unless StoneBuilt first provides shipping or return instructions.

If damage may present a safety risk, discontinue use until the product has been evaluated.

Transportation for Approved Warranty Service

If StoneBuilt Cornhole determines, based on reasonable documentation or inspection, that a defect is covered by this Limited Warranty, StoneBuilt will arrange or reimburse reasonable transportation necessary to complete the approved repair or replacement. The purchaser must receive authorization from StoneBuilt before incurring shipping or transportation expenses. StoneBuilt is not responsible for transportation costs incurred without prior approval or for transportation related to a claim ultimately determined not to be covered by this Limited Warranty.

Implied Warranties

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO ONE YEAR FROM THE DATE THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER RECEIVES THE PRODUCT.

Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

Limitation of Damages

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STONEBUILT CORNHOLE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY FOR INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM LOSS OF USE OF THE PRODUCT.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

Nothing in this Limited Warranty excludes or limits liability for personal injury or any other liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
